The Cochin-Obake or Paper Lantern Ghost is a famous Tsukumogami that, according to legend, if kept and used for over a century, will inherit a soul and come to life! It will split at the bamboo frame to form a gaping mouth, and sprouts one large gaping eye, and long rolling tongue! Atleast thats what the internet says,.. but hold on to this patch for that long, and you never know - it may come to life!
